Using the Emergency
Override Key

Using the Emergency Override Key

Your safe is equipped with an Emergency Override Key which
allows immediate access in case you forget your Passcode or the
batteries need replacing.
1.
Press firmly in on the dotted arrow on the front of the
battery cover and push downward to open.
2.
Remove 4-AA Batteries.
3.
Insert one of the Emergency Override Keys (2 included) into
the bypass lock located behind the batteries, and turn to the
right.
4.
Rotate the knob clockwise to the right and pull door open.
5.
With door in the open position, turn the Emergency
Override Key to the left and remove it from lock.
6.
Re-insert the 4-AA batteries. If required, replace discharged
batteries with a new set. (Page 5)
7.
Replace the battery cover, and with the door still open, test
your new Passcode. If your current Passcode has been
forgotten or no longer works, re-program a new Passcode
(Page 3) and retest.
8.
Lock the safe and return the Emergency Override Key to a
secure location away from the safe.
