5.7.5 Changing the belt on the cutting
deck
WARNING: Use protective gloves when
you do work on the blades.
Pinch hazard when working on the belt.
On cutting decks with crash-proof blades, the blades
are driven by a V-belt.
1. Dismantle front cover on the cutting deck, see
"5.7.2 Cutting deck" on page 54.
2. Dismantle left side covers.
3. Push the belt tensioner against the pulley and
remove the belt.
Assemble the belt
1. Put the drive belt around the tension wheels.
Make sure that the drive belt runs at illustrated
below.

5.7.3 Checking the parallelism of the
cutting deck
The parallelism and cutting height must be adjusted
when a new cutting deck is attached.
1. Make sure that the air pressure in the tyres is 150
kPi (1.5 bar / 21.8 PSI).
2. Park the product on a level surface.
3. Lower the cutting deck to mowing position.
4. Measure the distance between the ground and
the front and rear edges of the cutting deck hood
and make sure that the rear edge is 4–6 mm
(1/5") higher than the front edge.
