6 720 818 788 (2015/11)
▶ After completion of the gas network, thorough cleaning
must be done and a tightness test carried out to avoid
damage due to excess pressure in the gas valve.
This has to be carried out with the gas valve of the appliance
closed.
▶ Check if the appliance to be installed matches the type of
gas supplied.
▶ Check if the flow and pressure supplied by the gas regulator
installed are as indicated for the consumption of the
appliance (technical data in the table 6);
Heater installed with LPG gas - Pay attention to the
maximum volume consumed by the heater, as the number of
cylinders should match the consumption. In the event of the
number of cylinders being minor than the consumption of
the heater, the water may not heat and the gas may freeze,
making the formation of olein possible which damages the
internal parts of the appliance.

5.2 Choice of installation site

Provisions regarding the installation site
• Do not install the appliance in rooms with a volume less than
3
8 m
(do not consider the volume of the furnishings, as this
3
does not exceed 2 m
).
• Comply with the specific determinations of each country.
• Install the heater in a well ventilated site, away from negative
temperatures, where there is a combustion gas duct.
• The heater may not be installed on a heat source.
• To avoid corrosion it is necessary for the combustion air to
be free from aggressive substances. An example of
particularly corrosive materials are halogen hydrocarbons
present in solvents, paints, glues, motor gases and various
domestic detergents. If necessary, take the proper
measures to correct the conditions.
• Respect the minimum installation measures indicated in
Fig. 12.
If there is a risk of freezing:
