5.3 Fixing of the appliance

To fix the appliance to the wall
▶ Fix the appliance vertically, using the provided fixing
accessories.

CAUTION:
▶ Do not ever support the heater on the water
and gas connections.

5.4 Water connection

To avoid problems caused by changes in
temperature occurring in the supply, it is
advisable to fit a non-return valve and a
pressure regulating valve at the appliance inlet.
It is advisable to previously bleed the installation, as the
existence of impurities may cause volume reduction and, in the
worst case, water flow obstruction.
▶ Identify the cold water pipe (Fig. 14, [B]) and the hot water
pipe (Fig. 14, [A]), to avoid possible confusion.

5.5 Gas connection

The gas connection to the heater must absolutely comply with
the terms of local Standards in force.
▶ Firstly check if the heater to be installed matches the type of
gas supplied.
▶ Check if the flow and the pressure supplied by the gas
regulator installed is sufficient for the heater's consumption
(see technical features,  Tab. 6)
Installation with flexible tube (LPG)
The installation, if done with flexible tube (not metal), only for
appliances designed to be connected to a LPG cylinder, must
comply with the following:
• must have a possible minimum length of at most 1.5 m;
• the tube must comply with applicable standards;
• must be controllable all the way through;
• must not come near areas where heat is released;
• avoid folds or other bottlenecks;
• the connection at the ends must be made with proper
accessories and tabs without grooves.
▶ Check if the supply tube is clean.
▶ Fix a gas shut-off valve as close as possible to the appliance.

▶ In the case of an installation with connection to a gas supply
network, you must use metal tubes in accordance with the
applicable standards.

▶ In the case of an installation with connection to a gas supply
network, you must use metal tubes in accordance with the
applicable standards.
DANGER:
Non-compliance with legal standards
applicable may cause fire or explosion, causing
material damage or personal injury or even
death.
Only use original accessories.
DANGER: Danger to life caused by gas leak.
▶ Proceed to replace the tube if you find that
it is dry and fragile.
▶ Replace the tube at least every four years,
or according to the legislation in force.
