6. Thermistor Replacement

1. Remove the fusing unit.
2. Remove the fusing unit cover [A] (2 screws).
3. Remove the pressure plate [B] (2 screws).
4. Remove the oil supply pad [C] (2 screws and 2 clamp plates [D]).
5. Remove any excess oil from the oil sump and remove the oil sump [E].
6. Unhook the thermistor spring [F].
7. Remove the thermistor wire from the metal wire clamp [G] (1 screw) and
remove the thermistor [H] (1 connector).
8. Replace the thermistor and reassemble.
NOTE:
Make sure that the thermistor is properly in contact with the hot
roller.
