Securing the TV to a wall to prevent falling

We recommend that you set up the TV close to a
wall so it cannot fall over if pushed backwards.
We also recommend that the TV be attached to
a wall so it cannot be pulled over forward,
potentially causing injury or damaging the TV.
Caution
Make sure that children do not climb on or hang
from the TV.
To secure your TV to the wall:
1 Insert eye-bolts (or TV brackets and bolts) in
the top mounting holes on the back of your
TV. If your TV has screws in the eye-bolt
holes, remove them before inserting the
eye-bolts.
2 Tighten the bolts securely.
3 Secure wall brackets with bolts (not provided)
to the wall. Match the height of the wall
bracket to the holes in the TV. Make sure that
the eye-bolts or brackets are tightened
securely.
4 Use a sturdy rope or cable (not provided) to
secure the TV. We recommend that you tie
the rope or cable so that it becomes
horizontal between the wall and the TV.
Caution
• Use a platform or cabinet strong enough and
large enough to support the size and weight of
the TV.
