Confirming the Mode Being Used

Procedure 1
To see if the mode being used is appropriate for the objective, check the mode selector
switches (2) on the rear panel.

What to check
MEWNET - W
Check to see if all of the units in the link are in the
mode
MEWNET - W mode.
If the problem is not corrected, regardless of whether
or not the units are in the MEWNET - W mode, see
chapter 5 of the FP3/FP5 W type (wire) link system
manual.
MEWNET - W2
Check to see if all of the units in the link are in the
mode
MEWNET - W2 mode.
If the problem is not corrected, regardless of whether
or not the units are in the MEWNET - W2 mode, refer to
MEWNET - W2 Wire Link Specification Explanations.
MEWNET - F
Check to see if all of the units in the link are in the
mode
MEWNET - F mode.
If the problem is not corrected, regardless of whether
or not the units are in the MEWNET - F mode, see
chapter 8 of the FP3/FP5 Remote I/O system manual.
. Note
The setting of the mode selector switches (2) should be changed
with the power off.
