Power Saver Mode

Power Saver mode reduces power consumption when the printer is left idle for a specified
period.

Power Saver Levels

There are two levels of Power Saver mode.
• Low Power Save: After a specified period of inactivity, the control panel display dims
and the printer operates on reduced power consumption.
• Very Low Power Save: After a specified period of inactivity, the control panel display
turns off and the printer enters standby mode.

Exiting Power Saver Mode

The printer exits Power Saver mode automatically when any of the following events
occur.
• You press a button on the control panel.
• The printer receives data from a connected device.
• You open any door or cover on the printer.
