Front Suspension Adjustments
Shock Compression Damping (SP models)
Turn the adjuster to make adjustments
to the compression damping. When
adjusting, we recommend that you turn
the adjuster only one click, then test
ride. Always adjust both shocks
equally.
The standard setting is 4 clicks from
the softest position.
• Turn the adjuster to the left for a
stiffer ride.
• Turn the adjuster to the right for a
softer ride.

Shock Valving

Some shocks can be revalved if spring preload alone isn't sufficient and
further adjustment is desired to control suspension stiffness. Please see
your Polaris dealer.
Changing shock valving requires special tools and a sound knowledge of
mechanical theory, tool use, and shop procedures to perform the work safely
and correctly. Shocks contain high-pressure nitrogen gas. Use extreme cau-
tion when handling high-pressure service equipment. We recommend that
this work be performed by a Polaris dealer.
