5.5.1 Selecting Application Mode

For easy configuration, you may select an application mode that matches your application exactly. The web UI
will give minimum settings required for the selected application.
The applications provided are:
 Pair Connection: Two converters connected over a LAN are used to extend the distance between two serial
devices.
 Serial Server
 Remote COM
 Serial Broadcast
 Reverse Telnet
Refer to Chapter 3 for description of each application mode.
