Press COUNTER RESET to reset the counter to "0H00M00S."

Rewind the prerecorded tape to the beginning of the section to be
replaced.
The unit pauses.

Press AUDIO DUB.

To start editing, press P PAUSE to start dubbing and sing or speak into
the microphone.
When the counter reaches "0H00M00S," audio dubbing stops
automatically.
To stop while recording
Press p STOP.
To listen to the dubbed sound
Press AUDIO MONITOR until the "L," "R," and "STEREO" indicators go off
in the display window.
To record sound from the microphone mixed with an external source
If you connect equipment such as a laser disc player to this unit's LINE 2 IN
jacks, you can record while singing along to a karaoke LD. Be sure to press
INPUT SELECT on the unit to display "L2" before starting recording. The
mixed sound is recorded on the normal audio track, and the sound input
from the LINE 2 IN jacks is recorded on the hi-fi audio track.
Tip
• When dubbing from the microphone, you can use the functions of echo effect, Key
Control, and Self Duet.
Note
• Recording stops if you press COUNTER RESET while audio dubbing.
