Learn about setting up basic camera functions.
Make the camera easier to use by customizing or adjusting these
basic functions.
Adjusting Basic Camera Functions
MENU settings on the [
] and [ ] tabs can be configured. Customize
commonly used functions as desired, for greater convenience.
Changing the Image Display Period after Shots
The following items are available.
2 sec.,
Displays images for the specified time. Even while
4 sec.,
the shot is displayed, you can take another shot by
8 sec.
pressing the shutter button halfway again.
Displays images until you press the shutter button
Hold
halfway.
Off
No image display after shots.
By pressing the
button while an image is displayed after shooting,
you can switch the display information.
File Numbering
Your shots are automatically numbered in sequential order
(0001 – 9999) and saved in folders that store up to 2,000 images each.
You can change how the camera assigns file numbers. The following
items are available.
Images are numbered consecutively (until the
Continuous
9999th shot is taken/saved) even if you switch
memory cards.
Image numbering is reset to 0001 if you switch
Auto Reset
memory cards, or when a new folder is created.
Regardless of the option selected in this setting, shots may be
numbered consecutively after the last number of existing images on
newly inserted memory cards. To start saving shots from 0001, use an
empty (or formatted) memory card.
