Firewall Settings − Port Filter Policy
The DFL-600 allows you to specify a range of TCP or UDP ports for
connections between computers on the WAN and computers on your LAN
that will be controlled. These TCP or UDP ports are entered on the Port
Filter page.
Transport Type
Protocol
This drop-down menu allows you to specify the
transport protocol that will be filtered by the
DFL-600. You can choose from the TCP, UDP,
ICMP, IGMP, GRE, AH, ESP, and IPCOMP
protocols.
You can select from a list of commonly used
protocols from this drop-down menu. This is the
equivalent of entering the correct Transport
Type and the correct port number corresponding
to a given protocol. The difference here is that
