Create the Alias for the Nimble Storage Array and Management Systems
Procedure
1 Run the display fc login vsan <<net_fcoe_vsan_a_id>> command to get the port WWNs of the array
and management servers in <<net_fcoe_vsan_a_id>>.

2 Initiate another SSH session to <<nimble_admin_ip>> and log in as admin. Execute the fc --list command.

3 Back at the switch, enter system-view and run the vsan <<net_fcoe_vsan_a_id>> command.
system-viewvsan <<net_fcoe_vsan_a_id>>
4 Using the output from the Nimble Storage array as your guide, create an alias for the first Nimble Storage
array port logged in to the fabric (the items in the preceding switch output example that begin with
system-view vsan <<net_fcoe_vsan_a_id>> Fc).
The following example shows creating a zone alias for the fc5 port on controller A of the Nimble array,
which is connected to switch port Fc1/2/13.
zone-alias name <<nimble_system_name>>-CA-fc5
member pwwn 56:c9:ce:90:7c:99:ae:01
quit
5 Repeat step 4 for all of the other ports from the Nimble Storage array that are connected and logged in
to <<net_fcoe_vsan_a_id>>.
6 Create the aliases for the vFC interfaces of each management server that is logged in to the fabric (the
items in the preceding example that begin with Vfc).
system-viewzone-alias name <<mgmt_server_1_hostname>>-LOM1
member pwwn 10:00:34:64:a9:ba:d9:21 <-This is the Port WWN of Vfc711 in the
above example output
quit
7 Repeat this procedure for the other management servers and their vFCs in the configuration.
8 Repeat this entire procedure for <<net_fcoe_vsan_b_id>> and its associated Nimble Storage array and
that management server ports that are connected and logged in to it.
