Getting to Know Your Equinox

Multiple-Disc CD Changer

(if equipped)
The six-disc CD changer can hold up to
six CDs. To load one CD or multiple
CDs, follow the steps below.
Load One CD
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Press and release the LOAD button.
3. After INSERT CD flashes on the
display, insert a CD partway into the
slot, label side up. The player will pull
in the CD. The CD will begin to play
automatically, whether your radio is
on or off.
Load Multiple CDs
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Press and hold the LOAD button for
two seconds.
3. After INSERT CD and the number
appear on the display, insert a CD
partway into the slot, label side up.
The player will pull in the CD.
4. Once INSERT CD and the number
appear again on the display, load
another CD. When finished loading,
press the LOAD button to cancel
loading operation. The player will
begin to play the last CD loaded.

(Eject): Press this button to eject a
single CD. To eject multiple CDs, press
and hold this button until a beep sounds
and EJECTING ALL CDs appears in the
display.
Note: CDs with any affixed labels may
jam in the CD player. Label a CD using
a permanent marker. If more than one
CD is inserted into the slot at one time,
or if scratched or damaged CDs are
played, the CD player could be dam-
aged. When using the CD player, use
only CDs in good condition without
labels; load one CD at a time; and keep
the CD player and the loading slot free
of foreign materials, liquids and debris.

MP3 Player (if equipped)
If your AM/FM stereo with CD has MP3
playing capability, a CD-R or CD-RW
containing MP3 audio tracks will play
automatically when inserted into the CD
player. An MP3 symbol will be displayed.
