    Cerabar M, Deltabar M, Deltapilot M Installation General installation instructions • Devices with a G 1 1/2 thread: When screwing the device into the tank, the flat seal has to be positioned on the sealing surface of the process connection. To avoid additional strain on the process isolating diaphragm, the thread should never be sealed with hemp or similar materials.

  • Page 17 Installation instructions for devices with diaphragm seals – PMP55 • Cerabar M devices with diaphragm seals are screwed in, flanged or clamped, depending on the type of diaphragm seal. • Please note that the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid columns in the capillaries can cause zero point shift.
