If using Coexistence where 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth are used simultaneously, then there are some limitations and deployment
requirements to be considered as they both utilize the 2.4 GHz frequency range.
Capacity
When using Coexistence (802.11b/g/n + Bluetooth), call capacity is reduced due to the utilization of CTS to protect the
802.11g/n and Bluetooth transmissions.
Multicast Audio
Multicast audio from Push To Talk (PTT), Music on Hold (MMOH) and other applications are not supported when
using Coexistence.
Voice Quality
Depending on the current data rate configuration, CTS may be sent to protect the Bluetooth transmissions when using
Coexistence.
In some environments, 6 Mbps may need to be enabled.
Note: It is recommended to use 802.11a/n/ac if using Bluetooth due to 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth both utilizing 2.4 GHz, but
also due to the above limitations.
