Blu-ray Audio Setting

Choose the appropriate audio settings for your equipment. It only affects
during the playback of BD/DVD.

BD Audio Mode
You can select whether to output the primary and
secondary audio or only the primary audio.
Mix Audio At the same time, 7 outputs the primary and

HD Audio
Outputs only the primary audio.

Set to "Bitstream" when this unit is connected to a
Dolby Digital decoder and DTS decoder.
When playing back discs recorded in Dolby

or DTS-HD, the corresponding core stream
(Dolby Digital or DTS) are output.

This function is available only on digital outputting of a
disc recorded in 96kHz.

Off When outputting the original sound.
Note:
• When playing back a 96 kHz disc with the copyright
protection or when ''Virtual Surround" is set to "1" or "2",
the sound will be down sampled at 48 kHz even if the
"Down Sampling" is set to "Off".
(Refer to "Virtual Surround" on page 48.)
DRC (dynamic range control)
This function is available only on the discs which are
recorded in the Dolby Digital format.

When the discs that are recorded in the Dolby
TrueHD format is in playback, this unit detects
