Step 3.
Enable file download on IE 10 and 11 running on Windows 2012.
1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools ➙ Internet Options.
2. On the Internet Options window, select the Security tab.
3. On the Security tab, click the Internet zone.
4. Click Custom level to customize the security level for this zone.
5. Scroll down to Downloads and select Enable under File download.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Yes to confirm.
8. Click OK to close the Internet Options.
Step 4.
Enable scripts to disable or replace context menus. (Mozilla Firefox only).
For Mozilla Firefox:
1. On the menu bar in the Firefox browser window, click Tools ➙ Options.
2. On the Options window, select Content.
3. Click Advanced by the Enable JavaScript setting.
4. Select Disable or replace context menus.
5. Click OK to close the Advanced window.
6. Click OK to close the Options window.
7. Refresh your browser.
Step 5.
Enable TLS 1.1/1.2 (Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 and 10 only).
For Microsoft Internet Explorer:
a.
Open Internet Explorer.
b.
Select Tools ➙ Internet Options.
c.
Select the Advanced tab.
d.
Scroll to the Security section.
e.
Check the Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2 checkboxes.
Note: IE 11 and later enable TLS 1.1/1.2 by default.
User name and password for system initialization
During the initialization procedure, you need to log in to the management GUI for the Lenovo Storage
V7000 system.
The default user name and password for the management GUI are listed in Table 7 "Default user name and
password for the management GUI" on page 32.
