Use the Battery Indicator to Check on the Battery Status

The battery level is very low (the charge is less than approx.
9% capacity).
Connect the AC adaptor. You can use the computer when
the battery indicator light is orange. If you do not have an
AC adaptor, save your data and power off your computer.
After replacing the battery pack with a fully charged one,
turn your computer on.

Blinking red*
Battery pack or charging may not be working properly.
Quickly save your data and power off your computer.
Remove the battery pack and disconnect the AC adaptor,
then connect them again.
If the problem persists, contact Panasonic Technical Sup-
port. Possible failure in the battery pack or charging circuit.

Blinking orange*
Battery cannot be recharged temporarily because the inter-
nal temperature of the battery pack is outside of the accept-
able temperature range for recharging. Once the allowable
range requirement is satisfied, charging begins automati-
cally. Your computer can be used normally in this state.
Blinking green
Battery is discharging to prescribed charging level in high
temperature mode.
Not lit
Battery pack is not connected or charging not being per-
formed.

NOTE
This computer prevents overcharging of the battery by recharging only when
the remaining power is less than approx. 95% of capacity after the battery is
fully charged.
When the remaining battery charge of the computer is between 20-80%, re-
charging starts from the battery pack inserted into the second battery pack
slot, and discharging starts from the battery pack inserted into the main bat-
tery pack slot. When the remaining battery charge of the computer is 0-20%
or 80-100%, both the main battery pack and the secondary battery pack are
recharged/discharged almost equally.
