Outdoor unit parts replacement methods

AMP Air Conditioning
Procedure
WARNING
Do not detach the inverter for 5 minutes after
turning off the breaker as doing so may cause
electric shocks.
CAUTION
Wear gloves when working on it.
Failure to observe this precaution may cause
injury due to components, etc.
1) Turn off the air conditioner and the breaker switch.
2) Remove the lower part of front panel.
(screws: M4 x 10, 4 ) (Fig. 1-2)
• Remove the screws, and then pull the front
panel downward to remove it.
3) Remove the upper part of front panel.
(screws: M4 x 10, 2 ) (Fig. 1-4)
• Remove the screws, and then pull the front
panel downward to remove it.
4) Remove the power wire and indoor / outdoor
communication wire from the power supply
terminal block and communication terminal block.

5) Remove the upper panel.
(screws: M4 x 10, 7 ) (Fig. 1-9)
▼ Only a European model
1) Perform 1) from 3) of Step 1, remove the front
cover.
(screws: M4 x 10, 3 ) (Fig. 1-6)
2) Remove the switch cover.
(screw: M4 x 10, 1 ) (Fig. 1-7)
1) Mount the upper panel.
(screws: M4 x 10, 7 ) (Fig. 1-9)
2) Connect the power wire and indoor / outdoor
connection wire to the terminals, and fi x them
with the cord clamp. (Fig. 1-8)
CAUTION
Fix the power wire and indoor / outdoor
communication wire along the pipes using
commercially available binding bands so
that they do not come into contact with the
compressor, gas side valve, gas side pipe,
and discharge pipe.
3) Mount by reversing the detachment procedure,
attaching the upper and lower front panels in
order.
