3. Replace the battery cover. All segments flash 3 times.
The software version and the default date and time will
appear for 3 seconds then the screen will go blank.
CAUTION: Upon installing the battery, the meter software
version is displayed for 3 seconds. Software versions
may be numeric (example 1.0); therefore, please exercise
caution to ensure the software version is not reported as a
glucose result.
