Shoot.
As you take shots, the camera adds the
shooting date or time to the lower-right
corner of images.
To restore the original setting, choose
[Off] in step 1.
Date stamps cannot be edited or removed.
Shots taken without adding a date stamp can be printed with one
as follows.
However, adding a date stamp this way to images that already
have one may cause it to be printed twice.
Print using printer functions ( = 158)

Use camera DPOF print settings ( = 161) to print

Use the software downloaded from the Canon website
( = 155) to print

Using the Self-Timer

With the self-timer, you can include yourself in group photos or other
timed shots. The camera will shoot about 10 seconds after you press the
shutter button.

Configure the setting.
Press the [ ] button, choose [ ] in the
menu, and then choose [ ].
Once the setting is complete, [ ] is
displayed.

Shoot.
For Still Images: Press the shutter button
halfway to focus on the subject, and then
press it all the way down.
For Movies: Press the movie button.
Once you start the self-timer, the lamp
will blink and the camera will play a self-
timer sound.
Two seconds before the shot, the blinking
and sound will speed up. (The lamp will
remain lit in case the flash fires.)
To cancel shooting after you have
triggered the self-timer, press the
[
] button.
To restore the original setting, choose [ ]
in step 1.
