DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

Cabinet Parts and Action

Upper Front Board

Open the top board. (Fig. 1)

Loosen the screw marked [A] and turn the stopper. (Fig. 1)

Turn the left and right knobs. The upper front board can
then be removed. (Fig. 1)

Keyboard Cover

Open the top board. (Fig. 1)

Remove the upper front board. (See Procedure A-1.)

Open the keybord cover until it is perpendicular. It can be
lifted off while in this position. The keyboard cover can
then be removed. (Fig. 1)

If the keyboard cover is not in the perpendicular position,
it can not be lifted off.

Key Stop Rail

Open the top board. (Fig. 1)

Remove the upper front board. (See Procedure A-1.)

Remove the two (2) screws marked [B] and the hexagonal
screw marked [C]. The key stop rail can then be removed.

Lower Front Board

Remove the screw marked [D].

While pressing the spring, pull the knob. The lower front
board can then be removed. Next lift the lower front board
up and pass it through the space behind the leg. (Fig. 1)

Action Unit

Open the top board. (Fig. 1)

Remove the upper front board. (See Procedure A-1.)

Remove the keyboard cover. (See Procedure A-2.)

Remove the key stop rail. (See Procedure A-3.)

Remove the two clips on the left and right. (Fig. 2)

Remove the three (3) knob bolts, and the wire from the
wire stopper located on the left, right and center. The
action unit can then be removed. (Fig. 2)

Be careful not to damage the damper. Hold the hammer
rail of the hammer unit and the action bracket, and remove
the action unit while setting it at a slant.
