Locking the Keypad to Prevent an Accidental Use
While carrying around the FOMA terminal with the power on, the keypad can be
locked to prevent from being pressed accidentally.
 The following operations are available while the Lock key is set.
Voice call
Videophone While placing a call
PushTalk
While receiving a mail/message
Area Mail
While providing location
While the stand-by display i-motion is played back Stop (
While the battery alarm sounds
While the Alarm or Schedule alarm sounds

Slide the lock key

Even if the Lock key is set, the camera can be activated by sliding the lens cover to open as
long as the Camera in key locking is set to [Activate] (P.117). However, once you activate the
camera, the Lock key stays canceled even if the Camera mode is terminated.
● You can also mute the Keyguard release tone (P.111).
