Connect the yellow video cable
(supplied) here and to the TV's Video
In jack. Details are on page 9.
Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y (Video Out)
Connect component video cable here and
to the Component Video In jacks of a TV.
Details are on page 11.
Or, if your TV has Progressive Scan, connect
these jacks to the Progressive Scan In jacks
on the TV. Details are on page 12.
S-VIDEO (Video Out)
Connect an S-Video cable here and to the
S-Video In jack of a television. Details are
on page 10.

AC Power cord

Connect to a standard AC outlet to supply
power to the Player.
COAXIAL (Digital Audio Out)
Connect an optional audio coaxial digital cable here and to
the coaxial digital Audio In jack of a Stereo. Details are on
page 14.
OPTICAL (Digital Audio Out)
Connect an optional audio optical cable here and to the
optical digital Audio In jack of a Stereo. Details are on page 14.
When the OPTICAL jack is not in use, replace its protective
cap.
MULTICHANNEL AUDIO OUT
If you have a multiple channel Receiver (one that has
connections for six speakers), connect the MULTICHANNEL
AUDIO OUT jacks on the Player to the corresponding In
jacks on the Receiver. Details are on page 15.

INTERLACE
PROGRESSIVE/INTERLACE
switch
Set this switch to PROGRESSIVE
only when connecting the Player
to Progressive Scan In jacks on
your TV. Set this switch to
INTERLACE in all other cases.

• Do not touch the inner pins of
the jacks on the rear panel.

damage the unit permanently.
