Control the camera's sensitivity to light. Higher
values can be used to reduce blur when lighting
is poor; note, however, that mottling may appear
in pictures taken at high sensitivities, particularly
at settings above 1600. If AUTO or an option
such as AUTO (1600) is selected, the camera will
adjust sensitivity automatically in response to
shooting conditions. In the case of AUTO
(1600), AUTO (800), and AUTO (400), the value
in parentheses is the maximum sensitivity that
will be selected when the subject is poorly lit.

display.

Choose the size and aspect ratio at which still
pictures are recorded. Large pictures can be
printed at large sizes with no drop in quality;
small pictures require less memory, allowing
more pictures to be recorded.
