Adjusting the front fork
The front fork used on this motorcycle has rebound,
compression and spring preload adjustment.
Use the external screw adjusters to make
adjustments.
1) to adjust the rebound damping (1, Fig 146);
2) to adjust the preload of the inner springs
(2, Fig 146);
3) to adjust the compression damping (3, Fig 147).
Position the motorcycle on its side stand so that it is
stable.
Turn the adjuster (1) at the top end of each fork leg
with a flat screwdriver to adjust rebound damping.
Turn the adjuster (3) on fork leg bottom with a flat
screwdriver to adjust compression damping.
