INFORMATION: Only activate the brush roller on carpeted floors. Even then, do not stay too long in the
same spot as the surface may otherwise become damaged.
Switch on the appliance
using the On/Off button.
INFORMATION: The
brush roller cannot be
switched on if the appli-
ance is in the vertical po-
sition (see above). To do
so, you have to incline the
brush base (see above).
Removing the battery
Hold the rechargeable
battery securely and push
its release button.

Vacuum cleaning

Place you foot on the brush
base and pull the appliance
towards you with the handle to
incline the brush base.
If, on the other hand, you only wish
to vacuum clean with the hose, po-
sition the appliance vertically again
so that it stands up on its own.

Cleaning the contacts
Clean the contacts on the upright
vacuum cleaner, charger and the
rechargeable battery with a soft
cloth or a brush with soft bristles.
If you wish to clean car-
pets, switch on the brush
roller.
