11.2 Service and maintenance for components, Blocksize format

Replacing the fan on the PM240-2

Fans are available as spare parts for all PM240-2 installation sizes.

Only trained personnel may replace the fan, observing ESD guidelines.

Requirements

1. Disconnect the PM240-2 from the power supply.

2. Disconnect all cable connectors from the Power Module.

Frame sizes FSA/FSB/FSC

1. Release the lock

2. Withdraw the fan from the Power Module.

3. Remove the connector.

4. Remove the fan.

5. Connect the connector to the new fan.

6. Insert the new fan in the Power Module.

Fan replacement PM240-2, frame size FSB

of the fan (1 lock on FSA, 2 locks on FSB and FSC.)
