Let the battery charge for at least five minutes.

If the drives contain cardboard protectors, remove them.

Tum the computer on.

The computer perfonns a self test followed by the message:
Place system disk in drive
Press any key when ready.

Insert the MS-DOS
load the operating system.
You may insert the system diskette in the drive before
the message 'Place system disk in drive' appears on
the screen. The program is then automatically loaded
following the self test.

Answer the date and time questions.

The ' A>' prompt appears on the screen.
