Selecting the Focus Point (Focus Point)

Choose the part of the viewfinder to set focus to. The default setting is
[N (Auto)].
The selected focus point lights red in the viewfinder.

Focus point is not displayed in the viewfinder when [2 (Off)] is selected for
[Superimpose AF Area] in the [A Custom] menu. (p.100)
The camera selects the optimum focus point even if the
subject is not centered.
Set the AF area to one of the eleven areas in the AF area.
Set the focus to the center of the viewfinder.
