Selecting a driving mode
The following modes can be selected in any shift position to suit driv-
ing conditions:
Type A
Type B
2-1. Driving procedures
Power mode
For powerful acceleration
and driving in mountainous
regions
Normal mode
Snow mode
For accelerating and driving
on slippery road surfaces,
such as on snow
To cancel power mode or snow
mode, press the same side of
the switch again.
Eco mode
When eco mode is turned on,
the "ECO MODE" indicator will
come on and the multi-
information display will change
to the Eco Driving Indicator
Zone Display and Average fuel
consumption screen. (P. 193)
Pressing the "ECO MODE"
switch again turns eco mode off.
