Send and receive SMS (text messages)

Send an SMS (text message)
1. From the Home Screen, select Messaging
2. Select New SMS
3. Enter the phone number or select the
To: field to choose from a list of your Contacts.
4. Scroll DOWN to the field below the line and
type your message.
5. Select Send.
To read an SMS
If you receive an SMS the icon below will
appear at the top of the Home Screen
The number of messages you have received
will be shown in the bottom right hand
corner of the Messaging icon
To see your message:
1. Select Messaging icon
2. Select SMS . Your text
message inbox is displayed.
To delete, select Delete.
To reply, select Menu then Reply.
Please note: To send a new picture
message (MMS) select the New MMS
icon under the Messaging icon.
