    8 Quick Start Guide 4. Installing the SIM Card and Battery Make sure your phone is turned off before installing the SIM card and battery.   • Page 10 10 Quick Start Guide To install the battery Align the battery’s exposed copper contacts with the battery connectors inside the battery compartment. Insert the side of the battery with the contacts first and then gently push the battery into place. Replace the back cover.

    5. Charging the Battery New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before you start using your phone, it is recommended that you install and charge the battery. To charge the battery Connect the USB connector of the AC adapter to the sync connector at the bottom of your phone.

By letting the phone configure the data connection settings, you do not need to enter the settings for 3G/GPRS and WAP manually.

    14 Quick Start Guide 8. Quick List The Quick List offers convenient access to a list of functions, such as locking your phone and keypad, opening Comm Manager, and choosing a different profile. To access the Quick List Briefly press (press and quickly release) the POWER button. Select the desired option and click Select.
