The new Kodak i30 and i40 Scanners are the perfect match for all kinds of small-office
applications. You get fast scanning with the high-quality images you expect from Kodak.
Easy setup and operation, and a small footprint that fits any desktop.
Both scanners feature black-and-white, color and grayscale imaging; a 50-page
automatic feeder, automatic cropping and image straightening; electronic color dropout
and multi-feed detection. The Kodak i30 Scanner captures one side of a document at up
to 25 pages per minute. The Kodak i40 Scanner captures both sides of a document at
up to 25 pages per minute (50 ipm). Both models scan up to 1,000 pages per day.
Features at a Glance

Perfect Page with iThresholding — a first in the workgroup scanning, automatically
adjusts the scanner to all document types and conditions, improving OCR accuracy
and producing high-quality scanned images from even poor-quality original
documents — time-consuming rescans are virtually eliminated.

Auto crop and deskew — improved productivity and simplicity of operation by
virtually eliminating the need for time-consuming rescans.

Brightness and contrast controls — allows end users to customize color output for
specific applications, improving readability and further reducing the need for
rescanning.

Scanning speed — a built-in 50-page ADF allows continuous and reliable scanning.
The ADF handles a wide variety of documents from 8.9 x 5 cm (3.5 x 2 in.) to 21.6 x
35.5 cm (8.5 x 14 in.) at speeds of 25 pages per minute (ppm). This speed and paper
handling greatly improves throughput and reduces waiting time for the images, while
maintaining the highest quality levels. Available resolutions: 75, 100, 150, 200, 240,
300, 400 or 600 dpi.

USB 2.0 interface — enables easy, plug-and-play connectivity and rapid transfer of
images. The USB 2.0 card and cable are included for customer convenience and
instant deployment.

Industry-standard ISIS and Kodak-developed TWAIN Driver —enables Kodak's
advanced image processing at the scanners' rated speed and provides easy system
integration with a wide variety of document management, workflow, archiving, and
forms-processing applications.
