  • Page 12 CHAPTER 5: CONNECTING TO THE NIGHT OWL PRO APP Next you will enter the credentials for your WiFi network. If you do not know your WiFi credentials, please consult your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or router manufacturer in order to retrieve lost or forgotten passwords.

    CHAPTER 7: REMOTE VIEWING FROM A COMPUTER In addition to viewing from a mobile device, you can also view your camera from any computer with web access and Internet Explorer. First you will need to get your WAN IP address and Web Port numbers. While in the app, press the Device button.

    CHAPTER 7: REMOTE VIEWING FROM A COMPUTER 7.1. Remote View Settings From your remote viewing session you can adjust a number of settings and parameters. Menus Settings Options Live View Settings This is the default view of your live video. While in this menu you can adjust various settings to improve the quality of the image you are viewing.

Capture: take a snapshot of the current video frame. Full: go into full screen mode. Record: record the current stream directly to the camera.
  • Page 18 CHAPTER 7: REMOTE VIEWING FROM A COMPUTER Playback Options Play: play selected footage from the cursor point in the timeline. Pause: pause footage. Stop: stop playback. Next Frame: advance to the next frame in the footage. Capture: take a snapshot of the current frame and save to your computer.

Date/Time: adjust the date and time format, time zone, and/or the time server in which your system will be synced with. You can also enable Daylight Savings Time (DST) from this settings menu.

Modify: adjust the credentials and/or permissions of an existing user. Basic: standard permissions granted to the selected user.
