Note: <Connecting to a MX100 Series piano or an
earlier Disklavier Grand piano>
Normally, when no action is sent to the piano
for more than five minutes, the power supply
to the unit shuts off. In this case, pressing the
[STOP] button enables playback.
When connected to the DCD1+PS properly,
the piano's drive unit is always powered on, as
the DCD1+PS constantly sends MIDI data
(Active Sense Data) to the piano. If the
DCD1+PS is off or is not connected to your
piano, or if it was connected to your piano
more than five minutes after you turned on
your piano, you must press the [STOP] button
to enable operations.

your piano.
