This option enables or disables the Intel SpeedStep Technology.
When [Disabled] is selected, the Intel SpeedStep Technology feature is disabled.
When [Enabled] is selected, the Intel SpeedStep Technology feature is enabled.
Note that SpeedStep Technology can only be enabled in ST4000 Tablet PCs that
have Windows 2000 installed.
This option allows you to determine the speed of the CPU when battery power is
applied.
When Max Performance is selected, the CPU runs at high speed.
When Batt Optimized is selected, the CPU runs at low speed.
When Max Batt is selected, the CPU is throttled, depending upon the power
source.
When Automatic is selected, the CPU runs at high speed when AC power is
supplied, otherwise at low speed.
This option allows you to determine the speed of the CPU when power is applied.
When Max Performance is selected, the CPU runs at high speed.
When Batt Optimized is selected, the CPU runs at low speed.
When Max Batt is selected, the CPU is throttled, depending upon the power
