Copy the dload folder in the update package to the root directory of your microSD card. On
the home screen, touch
HUAWEI MediaPad M1 8.0 will then detect the update package and start the update.
The update progress and result are shown on the screen.
2.5 Will data be erased if I update my HUAWEI MediaPad
M1 8.0 ?
Updating your HUAWEI MediaPad M1 8.0 using a downloaded update package will erase
some personal data, such as your accounts, custom settings, installed applications, contacts,
messages, email settings, browsing history, and bookmarks, but videos and images you saved
on your HUAWEI MediaPad M1 8.0 will not be erased. This method is not recommended.
