should never sit or be occupied in
the right front passenger seat with
airbag manual on–off switch in the

Never put a rear–facing child re-
straint system on the right front
seat with the passenger airbag
manual on–off switch in the "ON"
position. In the event of an acci-
dent, the force of the rapid inflation
of the front passenger airbag can
cause death or serious injury to the
child.

A forward–facing child restraint sys-
tem which belongs to a passenger
risk group should never be put on
the right front seat with the passen-
ger airbag manual on–off switch in
the "ON" position, because the
force of the deploying airbag could
cause death or serious injury to the
child in forward seating position.
