7. Adjustment of synchronizer

Check:
1. Insert a new needle.
2. Remove the presser foot.
9-10 mm 9-10 mm
3. Turn on the master switch.
4. Select stitch pattern 07
5. Turn the handwheel forward by one full turn.
6. Continue turning the handwheel slowly and check the ti-
ming of the needle bar sideways movement.
A change of sideways needle bar movement shall take place when the needle is 9 to 10 mm above the
needle plate surface

Adjustment:
1. Remove the covers.
2. Loosen fastening screw (1 and 2) of sensor cam (A) just slightly.
3. Turn the handwheel until the needle is about 9 to 10 mm above the needle plate surface .
4. Turning sensor cam (b) very slowly until the zigzag stepping motor switches.
5. Tighten fastening screw (1 and 2 ) of sensor cam.
6. Make sure that the Flag of sensor cam 1, 2 and 3 rest in the center of the circuit board guides.
7. Cross-Check.
The following machine positions or functions are controlled by the synchronizer:
1. Change of feeding direction and change of stitch length
2. Sideways movement of needle bar
3. Take-up lever top position/needle „up" position
4. Needle „down" position
