4. Remove the headphone cover at the top of the phone (see Figure 3).

5. Set the headphone cover aside for reassembly.
6. Lift up the battery near the bottom end of the phone, then remove the battery
from the phone. See Figure 3.

There is a danger of explosion if the Lithium Ion battery is replaced incorrectly.
Replace only with the same type of battery or equivalent as recommended by the
battery manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
7. To replace, align the battery with the battery compartment so the contacts on
the battery match the battery contacts in the phone.
