6. Inserting / Removing A Memory Card
Follow the instructions below to insert/remove the SD card (not
included) into/from the camera:
1 . Turn the camera off first before inserting/removing the memory
card .
2 . Insert the SD card carefully into the SD card slot and in the correct
direction until it clicks into place .
3 . To remove the card, press and release it, then pull it out slowly .
Note:
A card can only be inserted in one direction; forcing it may cause
damage . Inserting or removing a card while the camera is on may
damage the files, the card, or the camera . The memory card must be
formatted either via the camera's MENU or with a PC before use .
7. Mode Switch (OFF/TEST/ON)
After inserting the batteries and SD card the camera can be set into
the following three modes of operation:
• OFF: When the switch is at the OFF position, the camera is turned
off . After inserting the batteries and SD card, the camera can be
operated in the following modes .
• TEST: When the switch is moved to the TEST position in the middle,
the Preview Testing Mode is on; you can adjust the camera settings
or view the photos and videos .
• ON: When the switch is at the ON position to the right, the camera
is in the automatic infrared shooting mode .
