2.4 Limit Control and Alarm Relay Contact Information

Limit Control Relays
Limit Control relays are designed to operate in a Failsafe mode. This results in momentary
(5 seconds maximum) limit action when power is initially applied, until the unit completes self-diagnostics.
If power is lost to the unit, the Limit Control Relay will still function.

Alarm Relays
Alarm relays are designed to operate in a Failsafe mode (that is, de-energized during alarm sate). This
results in alarm actuation when power is OFF or when initially applied, until the unit completes self-
diagnostics. If power is lost to the unit, the alarms will function.
