9. Voice Services

Using Voice-Activated Dialing

You can use a voice dial tag to automatically dial a phone
number in your Contacts. Your phone can store up to 30 voice
dial tags.
Note:
Please set the Voice Prompt feature (see page 33) to
using the Voice-Activated Dialing so that you can hear the voice
instruction from the phone. The default setting is
Making a Call Using Voice-Activated Dialing
With the phone open:
1. Press and hold
2. Follow the voice prompts and recite the entry's voice dial tag
into your phone's microphone.
With the phone closed:
1. Press and hold
2. Follow the system prompts and recite the entry's voice dial
tag into your phone's microphone.
Note:
To use this feature, you must have stored entries for voice dialing
(see "Programming Voice Dial Tags" below).
Programming Voice Dial Tags
1. From the Contacts list display, select a Contacts entry to
which you want to add a voice dial tag and press
2. Highlight a phone number to which you want to add a voice
dial tag and press Options (right softkey) > Set Voice Tag > Add.
3. The phone will prompt you to say the name you want to
program. Wait for the beep and then say the name.
4 Respond to the prompt by repeating the name after the beep.
(The display shows "Voice Tag Recorded".)
If you set a voice dial tag, the
number on the Contacts list.
Note:
Record voice dial tags in a quiet environment and without the aid
of an accessory.
