Special settings for "Direct connection" mode
In Direct connection mode, the fields in the lower section of the dialog box
are activated: you can set the transmission parameters for the virtual
COM port at the PC.
Use the default settings if you do not want to change any other parame-
ters. In the event of malfunctions, reduce the speed in the Bits per second
field. Set your communication software likewise to this value.
In the case of changes, only permitted values are accepted in the individ-
ual fields, even for manual inputs.
Dataflow control list
You can set whether the data transmission is controlled by the hardware
or software. The usual setting is Hardware (RTS/CTS) . RTS means "Re-
quest To Send" and CTS means "Clear To Send".
