Description
USB board for use in computer models with Intel processors (includes USB board cable)
USB board for use in computer models with AMD processors (includes USB board cable)
Before removing the USB board, follow these steps:
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the

computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and

then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the USB board:
Disconnect the USB board cable (1) from the system board. The USB board cable and num lock light

cable are included in the USB board spare part kit and are also available in the Cable Kit, spare
part number 417075-001.
Remove the num lock light cable (2) from the clip in the base enclosure.

Remove the Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screw (3) that secures the USB board to the computer.
