TROUBLE SHOOTING

If you cannot solve the problem by following the list below, remove the power plug and
contact your dealer or a local service centre.
General (TV·AV/PC)
Symptoms
Power does not come on.
Power indicator does not
light.
Power indicator does not go off.
No picture displayed.
Picture too dark.
Red, blue or green dots, or dots
with wrong color on the screen.
Picture displayed, but no sound.
No sound from headphones.
Remote control not functioning.

• Power plug disconnect from power outlet?
• Monitor and TUNER connected?
• If power cannot be turned on by remote control, confirm
that the power switch of the monitor is ON.
• Power adapter connected to the TUNER?
• Power plug disconnect from power outlet?
• Monitor and TUNER connected?
• Press power switch.
• Power adapter connected to the TUNER?
• Press the power switch again.
• Power supply turned OFF?
• Monitor and TUNER connected?
• Signal cable correctly connected?
• If in PC mode, cancel power management mode. (Move
the mouse or press a button on the keyboard. For details,
refer to the computer instruction manual.)
• Check input selection (INPUT).
• Adjust backlight (only PC mode), contrast, and brightness.
• The LC-display may contain pixels that do not light or are
always illuminated. 0.005% of total effective pixels may
be permanently dark or illuminated. This does not
represent a defect.
• Is muting (MUTE) activated?
• Is volume (VOL) set to minimum?
• Is the audio cable connected correctly?
• Connect correctly to headphones jack.
• Power switch of the monitor switched on?
• Battery in remote control exhausted?
Replace battery or use the controls on the TUNER panel.
• Battery inserted with correct polarity?
• Remote control sensor window exposed to strong
external light?
• Remote control sensor window or sending window soiled?
• Are you using the remote control designed for this unit?
• Are monitor and TUNER connected?
