Headlight
Adjusting headlight for
driving on left/driving on

This vehicle has a symmetric-
beam low-beam headlight. If
the vehicle is ridden in a coun-
try where the opposite rule of
the road applies, its symmetric
low-beam headlight means that
no measures are necessary to
prevent the headlight beam from
dazzling oncoming traffic.
Headlight beam throw and
spring preload
Headlight beam throw is gener-
ally kept constant when spring
preload is adjusted to suit load.
Consult a specialist workshop,
preferably an authorised
BMW Motorrad dealer, if you are
unsure whether the headlight
beam-throw setting is correct.
